I am publishing a coloring book on Amazon this December 19th! That’s 10 days ladies and gentlemen!!!
While it is technically a business adventure, it is also a way for me to donate coloring books to nursing homes, rehab facilities, hospitals, and other various facilities. This coloring book is called “Field of Flowers”, and it is dedicated to my grandfather that passed away this September 2024. Everything I am doing is in honor of my grandpa, Ken. He served in the US Navy for 24 years before retiring.
This book is special to me in many ways. It’s a way for me to honor him and his memory, and it is also a chance for me to give back to the metro ATL community in (HOPEFULLY) a really big way.
Some details about Field of Flowers:
I am publishing it on Dec 19th because it is my grandpa’s birthday.
I priced it at $11.11 USD as a nod to Veteran’s Day.
There will be a QR code on the spine of the book to take artists to the Parkinson’s Foundation donation page. My grandpa was diagnosed with Parkinson’s many years ago, and it did not define him. He was the most resilient man I know.
The images can be colored in various medias. Crayons, colored pencils, or markers. (PRO TIP – put a piece of paper behind the image if you plan on using markers that tend to bleed through). You know when your legal pad is empty and there is a small thin piece of cardboard left over? You could use that if you press hard on the pages like I do. What can I say, I have a heavy hand!
He was a man with many talents and passions. I’m sure this can become a series of collections of other color books with various different subjects.
I thank you all for your continued support! It truly means the most to me!
I’ll let you know when the store is open!!
